Itinerary
We begin our cycling tour travelling through the peaceful countryside and passing rice fields. Our first visit is to Thanh Ha traditional pottery village. See how pottery items are made and have a go making something yourself with the help of local artisans. We continue cycling to the nipa palm forest of Cam Thanh 3km south east of Hoi An old town, down winding country lanes, across bridges, passing water buffalo in fields.
For the next 30-45 minutes, learn how to sail a ‘thung chai’ the traditional conical bamboo basket boat along the Thu Bon River. Try your hand at catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canals.
Enjoy a traditional lunch with a local family and learn more about daily life in this area.We return to the hotel where our cycling tour ends.
